Where the money goes
Our annual Poppy Appeal is the RSL's major fundraising campaign allowing us to continue the work that means so much to the thousands of veterans and their families who require assistance from the RSL.
Over 1300 RSL Sub Branches in Australia, from CookTown to Coolangatta and from Tasmania to Townsville, collectively require in excess of $10 million to carry out their vital welfare work in support of our veterans and their families.

The RSL helps people of all ages, providing financial, social and emotional help to all those who have been affected by conflict.
Beneficiaries need not be members of RSL to benefit from the work funded by the Remembrance Day Poppy Day Appeal - just veterans, current defence force personnel or their dependants in need.
With close to 190,000 members Australia-wide, the RSL is the largest ex-service organisation dedicating itself to the well-being of those who have served and provides fully qualified welfare practitioners in every state.
Whether in need of emergency accommodation or advice as to compensation or pensions, the RSL is here to help and has done so for over 90 years.
By buying a poppy for your mobile phone you are contributing to the lives of Australians to whom so many owe so much
