In memory of my dad, love and miss you, and my viet vet husband. To those who gave their all so we have the right to do this, and for those still fighting for it. And many who will suffer for the rest of their lives from what they gave. We will never forget.

I am sorry so many lives have been lost & feel sadness but when I stopped today for silence to remember I felt their fear....Wars are still being fought all over the world & still today Men & Women are sacraficing their lives for what they believe in..it takes two sides to make a war but the consequences of their action all result in hardship & misery & regardless of the result of either parties no one wins .. GOD BLESS

I remember one day when I was standing by Grandpa's bedside in the War Vets nursing home and he gave me a fright because all of a sudden he cried out "Smitty!!!!" and tears were streaming down his face as he called out for his good mate who had again just died in front of him. Why? Because he was haunted forever after that day at war by seeing for one, Smitty blown apart in front of his very own eyes, he's mate from his hometown that didnt get to come home as he'd hoped. Rest in Peace Charlie from, your 'Princess' and Rest in Peace to all those who served and died in war for Australia then and now...Lest We Forget

Lest we forget. May it be one thing we do for those who sacrificed for us so many years ago. To keep the spirit alive each year and do our bit to reminid others around us, so they dont forget. Today is only how it is , because of those who fought and fell for us in the past. True Heroes, True Blue and Unforgettable.
We Will Remember You.

Lest We Forget.......A memorable day, that each and every one of us should spread the word, to remind those who have forgotten. Peace should never be taken for granted. Real people sacrificed their precious lives for us, so our country could be, what it is today. We WILL remember them.................................... We will remember you. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Today is a day that allows us to pause, and say a silent prayer for all those lost.
We will never forget you, always remember you - but not for what you did, but for all our lives, our sister's, brother's and our children's lives whom you saved. Without you today would not be today and tomorrow, tomorrow. Lest We Forget.
In memory of my Grandfather who served in the Vietnam War. I know you are always with me...
